Fitfully Forward is excited to launch our new Talent Empowerment Program, a heart-centered initiative that connects Special Needs adults with Assisted Living communities through creativity, movement, and shared joy.
We believe everyone has a gift to share — and this program creates beautiful opportunities for adults with IDD to shine while enriching the lives of seniors.
What Is the Talent Empowerment Program?
The program pairs Special Needs adults with Volunteer Job Coaches who support them as they lead activities in Assisted Living homes.
Talent areas include:
- Fitness
- Dance & Music
- Arts & Crafts
- Games & Recreation
Together, participants bring energy, connection, and creativity to senior residents — and build confidence and purpose along the way.
Why This Program Matters
- Adults with IDD gain meaningful leadership opportunities
- Seniors enjoy companionship, creativity, and uplifting interactions
- Volunteers make a direct impact on two populations who benefit deeply from community connection

We Need Volunteer Job Coaches
Instead of monetary donations this Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for just 1 hour per week.
Volunteer Job Coaches help:
- Support and encourage special needs adults
- Assist with simple activity setup
- Celebrate creativity, movement, and connection
- Create a positive experience for seniors and participants
No special background is required — only kindness, patience, and a willingness to show up.
